Company Overview

Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing is TSMC's majority-owned manufacturing subsidiary in Kumamoto Prefecture. Sony Semiconductor Solutions, DENSO and Toyota participate as minority shareholders, connecting the operation to Japanese image-sensor and automotive demand.

JASM's first fab entered volume production at the end of 2024 according to TSMC.
